The exact care scope is agreed before the service begins. It is not an “unlimited changes” loophole in a trench coat.
Revisions & Scope
Reasonable refinement, without infinite scope.
We do not count every image swap or spacing adjustment as a sacred numbered revision. We also do not pretend an entirely new feature is the same project.
Bringing the agreed site into shape
Reasonable changes necessary to bring the website into conformity with the agreed scope are included. That covers corrections, layout refinements, image swaps, wording changes, responsive fixes and functionality that does not work as agreed.
Materially expanding the project
New pages, languages, user accounts, ordering, dashboards, major integrations, substantial redesign after approval or functionality outside the agreed scope are quoted separately. The cost is agreed before the work begins.
FAQ
The questions sensible people ask before paying someone to build a website.
Is hosting included?
Yes. The Business Website package includes the first 12 months of an isolated VPS hosting environment and the technical infrastructure required for the site. After the included year, you can continue with Voidsmith or take control of the infrastructure yourself.
Is a domain included?
Yes, if you need one. One standard domain registration up to £25 is included for the first 12 months. If you already own a domain, we configure and use that instead. Premium domains and unusually expensive extensions are quoted separately before purchase.
Do I own my website?
The website, business content, business data and client-owned assets delivered under the project remain under your control in accordance with the project agreement. Third-party software and services remain subject to their own licences and terms.
Am I required to pay Voidsmith every month?
No. There is no mandatory monthly maintenance contract attached to the standard Business Website package. Managed Website Care is available if you want ongoing assistance.
How many revisions do I get?
We do not use an arbitrary revision counter for ordinary project refinement. Reasonable changes required to meet the agreed project scope are included. Materially new features or requirements outside the agreed scope are additional work and are quoted before implementation.
What if I want something added after the website is finished?
You can return to Voidsmith whenever you need additional work. We review the requested change and agree the price before carrying it out. Small jobs remain small jobs; larger additions are scoped properly.
Can you redesign my existing website?
Yes. Existing websites can be redesigned, rebuilt or migrated where appropriate. We first review the current site and infrastructure to determine what should be retained, replaced or migrated safely.
Can Voidsmith build something more complex than a normal website?
Yes. Voidsmith also develops custom web systems, integrations, automation and software. Those projects are scoped individually.
